Struggling with sleepless nights & bedtime battles?

Welcome to the Toddler Technique video series & membership, designed to help you and your little one achieve peaceful, restorative sleep without the dreaded sleep training that so many of us are wary of.

This programme is founded in evidence based, gentle parenting principles, focusing on empathy, respect, and understanding. My suggestions are designed to support your toddler’s emotional development while helping you discover kind and respectful methods for optimising sleep.

Join a supportive community of like-minded parents who are on the same journey. Share experiences, gain insights, and find encouragement in our members-only Facebook forum, where I check in daily to answer questions. You will also have lifetime access to exclusive content, including video tutorials, detailed summaries, and live question & answer calls with me, each week.

I am a certified holistic sleep coach, a registered midwife and a mum of four.  I understand the delicate balance parents face when trying to improve sleep without jeopardising attachment or connection with their little ones.

This video & community membership is for you if...

• You have a toddler who struggles to wind down in the evening. Maybe they scream and cry at bedtime or become mischievous, repeatedly running out of the bedroom. In either case, they often employ multiple delay tactics and resist every suggestion or request you make.

• Your toddler wakes multiple times a night and needs repeated input from you to fall back to sleep. Perhaps you're rocking or feeding them every hour or two of every night?

• It's not just sleep. Maybe dinner times are chaotic, with food refusals and tantrums as the main course.

• You consider yourself a patient, gentle and loving parent, yet you are increasingly annoyed, anxious, resentful or stressed about evenings and overnights with your child.

• You are spending the entire evening getting them to sleep because you instinctively know that sleep training is NOT for you or your family

• You are experiencing unsettled nights, multiple night wakes or if your child is simply awake for hours in the middle of the night.

It's also for you if you are the type of parent who...

• Wants to be fully available for the needs of their toddler at sleep time but would like a more joyful and loving experience. (Maybe you love co-sleeping but you don't love the way your child needs to feed, every single time they stir.)

• Has a curious mind and likes to fully understand the cause of life's challenges before taking action.

• Is open minded and willing to challenge the mainstream opinions and beliefs regarding what their child's sleep SHOULD look like.

• Has the patience and capacity to try something new and fun.

• Is not convinced they need 1:1 coaching but know that some insights and reassurance would be helpful.

"Katie's Toddler Technique is packed full of wisdom, insight and tips to help you & your toddler live your best lives.  I loved going through the course and learnt so much about supporting my toddler with her sleep & well-being.  In bite-sized, easy to listen to videos, Katie explains not just how to tackle challenges but why you should try her strategies, and includes lots of great additional resources. This course is very holistic and discusses so much more than sleep.  I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about how they can best parent their toddler."

"I'm so pleased to have found Katie's toddler course.  It was recommended to me by my sister and I was not disappointed.  The coaching calls especially have been a godsend.

My 22mo daughter was taking forever to fall asleep in the evening and me and my partner were having no time together.  I work full time so evenings were chaos and bedtime was taking over 2hrs!  I always felt anxious at the thought of putting her to bed.  Now we have completed Katie's course everything feels lighter. We have way more fun.  My daughter seems happier and she even leads us to the bedroom now. Best of all, she now falls asleep within 20mins.   Thankyou Katie.  bedtime is now our favourite time of day."

Coaching Calls

Our coaching calls are currently held fortnightly, via Zoom, on Monday evenings at 8pm (Melbourne time). They're relaxed, supportive sessions where you can bring your questions, worries, or wins. Whether you're feeling stuck, making progress, or just craving some reassurance, you're always welcome. Regular reminders are sent out, and every call is recorded so you can catch up later if you cannot attend in-person.

These calls are a great way to remember you're not alone. Parenting a toddler can be really isolating, especially when sleep is messy and emotions are running high. But in this space, you’ll hear from other parents going through the same things. You’ll receive ideas, encouragement, and sometimes just the comfort of knowing someone else gets it. We also make time to celebrate your wins, no matter how small. Because progress is worth noticing, and success always feels better when it's shared.
